A NEW study has exploded the myth that parents struggle to cope with their children flying the nest.
The survey - conducted by psychiatrists at King's College London - suggested that parents whose children stay at home are in fact more likely to suffer depression than those whose offspring move out.
The researchers found having fewer children leaving home could be linked to failed aspirations, increasing the risk of family conflict and depression. Lead researcher Dr Melanie Abas, said: "A commonly held view is that ...
