Introduction
Breast cancer is an important health issue. Worldwide, more than a million women are diagnosed with breast cancer every year. In the UK, breast cancer is the most commonly occurring cancer in women. Between 1 in 9 and 1 in 12 women in the UK will develop breast cancer during their lifetime (up to the age of 80 years) [1].
