Hindustan National Glass and Industries (HNGIL), the country s largest manufacturer of container glass bottles, is set to invest Rs 300-400 crore over the next two years to ramp up its capacity to over 3,700 tonnes per day (tpd) from the present 2,750 tpd across six manufacturing units.

The Kolkata-headquartered HNGIL, the flagship company of C K Somany group, has also diversified into float-glass manufacturing to make products for the automotive and construction industries.
