The following correction was published in the Telegram & Gazette on June 26, 2009:
Millbury veterans who would like a ride to the annual Millbury Lions Club Independence Day parade Sunday should contact Stuart Mulhane at (508) 865-2560. The parade begins at 1 p.m. The Vernon Hill American Legion Post 435 in Worcester also will participate in the parade. Veterans from the Vernon Hill post participating are asked to meet at 11 a.m. at post quarters, 267 Providence St., Worcester. An item in the Veterans Notes column in the Sunday Telegram incorrectly indicated veterans from Worcester could contact Mr. Mulhane for a ride.
