St. Jude Children's Research Hospital(R) celebrated its 7th annual FedEx/St. Jude Angels & Stars Gala by honoring Tommy and Thalia Mottola on May 16th, at the InterContinental Hotel in Miami, Florida. Lili Estefan, co-host of the popular Univision show El Gordo y La Flaca presented Tommy and Thalia with the 2009 Al-Rashid Hope Award for their commitment to children's causes and for their contributions to the entertainment industry (see also Pediatrics).
