In a depressed economy, with private tenants uninterested in two downtown redevelopment projects, Eugene officials are hoping the city and Lane Community College can jump-start the languishing efforts.
On Tuesday, the City Council will be asked to give Portland developer Bradley Malsin an additional six months to start the renovation of the empty Centre Court building and construction of a new building on the adjacent excavated pit, at Broadway and Willamette Street.
