It's been raining a lot in New York, and guess whose fault that is?
Seattle's!
June in New York was a soggy mess, reported The New York Times, with 10.7 inches of rain approaching a record. Meanwhile, Seattle recorded just 0.18 inch of rain, tying a 29-day no-rain record that made for a popular story on the region's weather blogs.
What's the connection? According to Seattle meteorologist Cliff Mass, our sunshine caused their gloom.
