caprotec bioanalytics GmbH announced the commercial launch of its Stauro caproKit, enabling the discovery, identification and characterization of proteins interacting with staurosporine.
Staurosporine, originally isolated from the bacterium Streptomyces staurosporeus, is a potent inhibitor of many protein kinases and widely used for research purposes, such as an inducer of apoptosis, the process of programmed cell death.
