Discussions of gender and sexuality tend to be framed exclusively in terms of straight relationships, as if the 10-20 percent of us who are gay or lesbians somehow don't count.
Well, I may be straight but I sure don't have to be narrow: Any genuine nonviolence project must address the appalling fact that 50 percent of gays and lesbians report having been victims of physical violence based solely on their sexual orientation.
