The American Association of Public Welfare Attorneys held its 41st Annual Conference in Minneapolis on Sept. 21-24 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel with some 160 attendees. The conference included business meetings, the president's welcome, and an opening session led by Daniel Hart, president (Iowa) and Deborah Huskins, vice president (Minnesota). The association kicked off the conference with a plenary session on litigation reviews, Medicaid, TANF, child support and child welfare. The speakers included Alan Dorn, Bob Keith and Howard Davidson, who highlighted significant litigation developments in these important areas over the last year.
