WORCESTER - A third defendant in a 2007 baseball bat attack in Westboro pleaded guilty yesterday in Worcester Superior Court.
Paul A. Ellslager, 29, formerly of Westboro, was sentenced to 2 to 3 years in state prison with two years of probation to follow after pleading guilty to two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (baseball bat).
Assistant District Attorney Kathleen M. DelloStritto said the two victims, Pierre Langevin and Nicholas Inman, were walking home with friends on Cross Street in Westboro shortly after midnight Oct. 28, 2007, when they encountered another group and words were exchanged.
