Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS) was among five companies recently awarded the prestigious Foreign Policy Association's (FPA) Corporate Social Responsibility Award. Howard L. Lance, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Harris Corporation, accepted the award on behalf of the company and its 15,000 employees during the FPA's annual dinner on May 27, 2009, in New York City.
The award is presented to individuals and companies who are committed to good corporate citizenship in the communities they serve. Other companies receiving the award were: Archer Daniels Midland Company, ARTOC Group for Investment and Development, The Coca-Cola Company; and McDonald's ...
