SUSAN WRIGHT is absolutely correct when she says men are to blame for so many women having children later in life (Letters) -- and I can tell you why.
We men have wised up a little to the rewards which our devotion to family life brings. Having met someone, fallen in love, married, set up home, had children and worked hard to provide for them, we're faced with the hard truth that, should it all go wrong, we must hand over around 70 per cent of our assets in a divorce settlement.
