Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, the world s largest maker of printing presses, may obtain 1.4 billion euros ($2 billion) in financing from banks and government funds as early as this week, a month ahead of plan, according to four people familiar with the negotiations.

Lenders including Deutsche Bank AG and Commerzbank AG will provide 550 million euros in loans, state-owned development bank KfW Group will provide a 300 million-euro loan and the federal and state governments are backing 550 million euros with guarantees, said the people.
