A SOUTH African company, Gyproc, has invested US$1,5 million in plant value for the manufacture of wall finishing plasters and ceiling boards in Zimbabwe.
The company produces Rhinoset, Rhino bond and Rhino Covemould.
Gyproc Zimbabwe also enjoys a market share in Malawi and Zambia.
Speaking during a media tour of the plant yesterday, general manager Mr Bruce Kaseke said the company is presently operating at 40 percent production capacity.
He said: "We are just at preliminary stages, we are expecting to increase production capacity to at least 60 percent depending on the response of the market."
