Wet Head alert: The manufacturers are stepping up the technology of this ancient heating science.
AT THE SHOW -- Hydronics manufacturers showcased products designed to enhance or improve hydronics technology at this year's show.
Griswold Controls displayed its new "FlowCon Y" valve, created to simplify a hydronic system's piping.
The valve includes a handle ball valve, strainer, flow control, two pressure-temperature plugs, and two union-end connections with fittings to match a specific system's piping. A flow-control cartridge limits the flow rate at the terminal unit regardless of pressure changes in the hydronic system, the company says.
