The Temple City here is third best place among 14 locations in the country, where doing business is easier according to a report by International Finance Corporation IFC and The World Bank. In 2006, the state ranked fifth in the country among 12 states in the Doing Business Report.
The report titled Doing Business in India provides a quantitative measure of the national, state and municipal regulations involved in starting up a business, dealing with construction permits, registering property, paying taxes, trading across borders, enforcing contracts and closing a business as they apply to domestic small- and midsized enterprises.
