NEW YORK--Feb. 12--It may not knock Sing & Snore Ernie off the best-selling toy charts, but Hasbro Inc. thinks it has a winner on its hands -- a lollipop that behaves like a Walkman or a private jukebox.
Introduced here yesterday at the annual American International Toy Fair, Sound Bites is a lollipop holder that plays melodies -- and rude noises -inside a person's head.
The $9.99 toy works this way: Insert a lollipop into the Sound Bites holder. Then bite down on the lollipop. A computer chip in the holder transmits vibrations through the teeth directly to the inner ...
