Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Children's Book Group, part of global education leader Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, will receive the 2008 American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) Roger Caras Achievement Award next month.
Named in honor of former ASPCA President Roger Caras, this annual award lauds individuals and organizations that inspire children with exceptional contributions to the animal community through literature, direct actions or media.
