It has been 17 years since Brett Hearn last scored a Super DIRTcar Series Big-Block Modified victory at the Niagara Frontier's Ransomville Speedway.
Despite drawing the pole position for Friday's race, the 50-year-old 'Corporate Jet,' as the seven-time Mr. DIRT national modified champion is known, still needed a dramatic
three-wide late-race maneuver in traffic to score his first tour triumph of the young season.
