SYDNEY, July 8 Asia Pulse - The Australian share market was more than one per cent lower at noon following a negative lead from Wall Street, weaker oil prices and losses in the resources sector.

At 1200 AEST, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was down 37.1 points, or 0.98 per cent, at 3,729.8 points, while the broader All Ordinaries index had shed 39.2 points, or 1.04 per cent, to 3,728.6 points.

On the Sydney Futures Exchange, the September share price index contract was 49 points lower at 3,695 points on a volume of 13,795 contracts.
