HALTOM CITY, Texas--Feb. 19--A division of Sara Lee Corp. is considering the former Keebler Co. plant for a $19.9 million food processing center. The move would make it Haltom City's second-largest employer with 320 jobs and end what has been a 20-month search to fill the 140,000-square-foot facility.
But there are two catches, city officials say.
Dallas-based State Fair Foods wants financial incentives before committing to Haltom City, said Scott Welmaker, the city's economic development director. Because the building is in Haltom City's ...
