BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN Eoe1/4" National Economy Minister Ahmed bin Abdulnabi Macki yesterday said the non-oil sectors had been behind the Omani economyEoe1/4aos strong growth 2008 as compared to 2007.
Macki, who is also deputy chairman of Financial Affairs and Energy Resources Council, pointed out that the Gross Domestic Product
(GDP) Eoe1/4" at current prices Eoe1/4" of non-oil sectors rose from RO6.439 billion in 2007 to about RO8.550 billion in 2008, a growth of 32.6 per cent.
The economy itself registered a GDP growth Eoe1/4" again at current prices Eoe1/4" of 44 per cent in 2008 as compared to 2007, Macki said.
