Local manufacturers including Anaren Microwave, Anoplate Corp. and PPC landed on the list of lucky companies.
New York state is letting them stay in the Empire Zone program and continue to collect hundreds of thousands of dollars per year in tax credits.
But the state told other businesses -- including NRG Energy, which owns the Oswego steam station, and the Bond Schoeneck & King law firm -- it is kicking them out of the tax break program.
