MAZAR-I-SHARIF (PAN): Police in northern province of Balkh claimed detaining IEDs and suicide vests making expert of foreign origin. Balkh police chief Brig. Gen Sardar Muhammad Sultani told a press conference in Mazar-i-Sharif on Wednesday that Etbarullah,a resident of Peshawar has been arrested who is expert in making roadside bombs and suicide vests and involved in training anti-government elements in Balkh.
Etbarullah had a Pakistani passport and had an ID card of a religious party of that country. Sultani did not name the party, but said the person was arrested in Nahar-i-Shahi district of the province.
