July 10, 2009 (FinancialWire) -- AssuranceAmerica Corp. (OTCBB: ASAM) (Current Market Cap: $16.29 Mil.) has hired John M. Mongelli as the company's senior vice president of finance. He will assume the role of chief financial officer on August 16, following the filing of the company's June 30 quarterly report.
Mongelli was formerly the VP and corporate treasurer of ChoicePoint, Inc. (NYSE: CPS). He spent eight years at ChoicePoint and, before that, ten years with various Coca-Cola companies.
