NEW YORK -- Products that promise to protect and condition hair, often with the help of natural or organic ingredients, have emerged to lead the ethnic hair care category.
L'Oreal's SoftSheen-Carson unit recently introduced its Roots of Nature Line, which includes a strengthening moisturizer, a triple repair hair dress, a reconstructing deep treatment and a stimulating scalp oil.
The products are formulated with organic shea butter, a powerful moisturizer, and organic green tea, an antioxidant, the company says. They are designed to repair damage and eliminate breakage while strengthening and moisturizing hair.
