Khaleeji Commercial Bank (KHCB) has launched the Al Waffer Account. The Al Waffer is a Shari'ah-compliant Mudarabah account offering participants total cash prizes of $1 million every year. Participants will get one point for every BHD 50 ($132) in their account for the raffle, with a minimum of BHD 100 ($265). The first draw will be on 4 October 2009.
KHCB's Chief Executive Officer and Board Member Ibrahim Hussain Ibrahim said, "The Al Waffer will provide customers with an opportunity to win cash prizes every month, besides bigger prizes every quarter and a mega prize of $250,000 at the end of the year. Other ...
