Construction began July 10 on the new $20 million Partnership III building in the Central Florida Research Park, near the University of Central Florida.
The building expansion is part of local efforts to help metro Orlando retain and add thousands of high-tech, high-wage modeling and simulation jobs.
UCF and the military will share the five-story building, which will be home to the UCF Institute for Simulation & Training laboratories and related modeling and simulation research.
