THE Aluminium Smelter Company of Nigeria (ALSCON), Ikot Abasi in Akwa Ibom State has lost about $40 million in remedial work and raw materials due to the disruption in gas supply to the company.
The Managing Director of the Company, Mr Andrey Terentyev, said that another $34 million was lost in earnings and lamented the negative impact of the disruption in gas supply to the company on four occasions.
