CHINESE AUTOMAKERS REPORT RISE IN JAN-MAY OPERATING REVENUE

BEIJING - China's large-scale auto enterprises (covering all state-owned enterprises and those each with annual sales in excess of five million yuan [US$731,710]) saw a 1.53 per cent increase in prime operating revenues to 1.07 trillion yuan from January to May, according to statistics released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.

The enterprises realized profits of 60.16 billion yuan, down 9.9 per cent ...
