I hope your readers will take Dr. Harriet Hall's advice on "What to Eat" with a grain of salt. Dr. Hall gives an important message to believers in a high-meat diet, like Inuits, Maasai, and those who follow the Atkins Diet. Nonetheless, despite the title of her article, its content actually supports the opposite thesis. She defends eating meat because it's too difficult to figure out good nutrition, because epidemiology studies are imperfect, because life may not be worth living without meat, and because she and her husband can win an argument with a cucumber consumer by equivocating: fallaciously changing the definitions of key terms such as "organic" and "fish genes". ...
