Taipei, July 3, 2009 (CENS) -- Cheng Uei Precision Industry Co., Ltd., one of Taiwan's leading manufacturers of electronics components, has taken orders for Xbox 360 game consoles from Microsoft Corp. In the second half of this year, Cheng Uei is expected to ship a maximum of one million units of the game consoles per month.
The company predicted it would ship 12 million to 13 million units of connectors for Apple Computer's iPhone cellphones and iPod digital music players in the second half of this year, enabling the firm to score at least NT$4 billion (US$121.58 million at US$1:NT$32.9) in monthly sales starting from July.
