TWO Rangers fans were yesterday charged with assaulting police officers in violent clashes during the UEFA Cup Final riot in Manchester last year.
Scott McSeveney, 21, was charged with attacking PC John Goodwin, while 25-yearold Mark Stoddart faces a similar charge against PC Mick Regan.
A third man, 19-year-old Brian McVicar, has been charged with violent disorder, bringing to ten the total number of people charged over the riots on May 14, 2008.
