ANOTHER epic election battle is expected in Wales' most controversial constituency following the selection of a sitting Labour AM to fight the Independent incumbent.
Alun Davies, who has represented Mid and West Wales as a regional AM since 2007, was chosen by party members in Blaenau Gwent to take on Trish Law in 2011.
Until 2005, Blaenau Gwent was the safest Labour seat in Wales.
