According to a study from Tampere, Finland, "Conventional nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) have a well-documented nephrotoxic action. Still, there are only few studies that have investigated the nephrotoxicity of cyclo-oxycenase-2-inhibitors during the perioperative period."
