NLC President Brian O'Neill has appointed 35 members of the NLC Board of Directors and Advisory Council to serve as liaisons to all NLC standing committees. O'Neill said he decided to expand the traditional Board and Advisory Council Representatives roles to ensure strong connections among key leadership groups during the coming year.
"As we work on a range of national policy issues and organizational priorities and begin to implement the strategic plan, I think it is essential that the Board of Directors and the Advisory Council stay connected to the work of our many standing committees," O'Neill said.
