BAE Systems announced that executive director Walt Havenstein has decided to leave the Company. Walt has resigned as a director and Chief Operating Officer, BAE Systems plc and steps down as President and CEO, BAE Systems, Inc. with effect from June 26, 2009 and will leave the employment of BAE Systems, Inc. on September 20, 2009.
General Anthony (Tony) Zinni (USMC ret.), currently a member of the BAE Systems, Inc. Board, has been appointed Chairman of the BAE Systems, Inc.
