In this economy, even marketing professionals need a little help promoting themselves to potential employers.
At an upcoming program planned by six Detroit-area sales and marketing organizations, those job seekers will be able to get some pointers on how to market themselves.
The event is scheduled for 5 p.m. on July 28 at Novi's Hotel Baronette, located at 27790 Novi Road.
Dan Chester, the event's lead organizer, said the program is aimed at jobless workers in sales, marketing and advertising, as well as employees worrying they might get the pink slip next.
