Article: The MathWorks Opens Three Offices in Japan.

The MathWorks announced that it has opened offices in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka, Japan, reflecting its transition to a direct sales operation in that country. The MathWorks Japan will be responsible for selling and supporting the Company's MATLAB and Simulink product families to the expanding Japanese customer base in a broad set of industries including automotive, communications, electronics, semiconductor, industrial automation and machinery, as well as the academic community.
