Interfax remained most cited Russian news agency in H1 2009

Moscow, July 15 (Interfax) - Interfax continues to be the most frequently cited Russian news agency by leading Russian and foreign media, according to a survey of the first half of 2009 based on the analysis of Interfax' SCAN (System of Comprehensive Analysis of News) database and the LexisNexis company's international media database, the world's largest.

The eight leading news agencies operating in Russia and covered by the survey were Interfax, RIA Novosti, ITAR-TASS, Reuters, Prime-TASS, RosBusinessConsulting (RBC), Regnum and Rosbalt. For objectivity's sake, ...
