IT'S hard to believe that we've had farmers' markets in the North East for 10 years. Following Alnwick in June, Morpeth farmers' market celebrates its 10th anniversary, along with Hexham in November and Ponteland next May.

Originally held on a Sunday in the town hall, Morpeth farmers' market switched to the first Saturday in the month within Morpeth Market Place after the floods last September when the town hall was not available.
