Members of the Bonitas Medical Fund, the third largest medical scheme in the country, have no cause for concern, says its principal officer, Bafana Nkosi.
He was referring to weekend reports on the court-ordered investigation into the scheme and its administrator, Medscheme.
The Council for Medical Schemes' acting registrar, Patrick Matshidze, filed an urgent application at the Johannesburg High Court on Friday, and the court ordered that independent forensic investigator Cornelius Potgieter be appointed to conduct the investigation.
