What are the possibilities and limitations of producing site-specific works in the late 1990s? Judging from the "Sculpture Project in Monster 1997," it is apparent that site-specificity has had its heyday. Site-specific concepts and practices have evolved over the past few decades, as seen in the 1977, 1987 and 1997 exhibitions in Munster.
