Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Limited, or Gasco, has awarded four contracts worth more than $10 billion to develop a natural-gas processing plant and an offshore field as part of the emirate s effort to secure more of the fuel to meet its rising energy needs.
Gasco s ambitious Integrated Gas Development project in the town of Habshan, to be completed in 2013, will include four gas-processing trains with a combined processing capacity of 2 billion standard cubic feet per day, the official Wam news agency reported on Thursday.
