WORCESTER - The Worcester County Law Library Trust has launched a fundraising campaign to ensure that the fate of a certain early 19th-century nursery rhyme character does not befall its 148-year-old statue of Moses.
"With YOUR HELP we will be able to do for Moses what all the King's horses and all the King's men could not do for Humpty Dumpty," reads a handbill being distributed by the trust to announce a Sept. 17 open house and cocktail party to help raise the more than $20,000 it is expected to take to put Moses together again.
