MAZAR-I-SHARIF (PAN): Several rockets were fired at a regional office of the Mine Action Coordination Centre of Afghanistan (MACCA) in the northern Balkh province,an official said on Wednesday.
Haji Habib Zazai,the MACCA head, told Pajhwok Afghan News the attack took place in Balkh district.
Two vehicles of the office caught fire and the building was damaged as a result of the rocket strike, he said. According to Zazai, some officials were also present inside the building at the time of the attack.
Fortunately,no one was hurt. He added the rockets were fired from nearby ruined houses opposite the office.
