CHINA'S GREAT WALL MOTOR SELLS 91,000 VEHICLES IN H1
SHIJIAZHUANG - Chinese automaker Great Wall Motor (SEHK:2333) sold 91,000 vehicles during the first half of 2009, with domestic sales up 110 per cent from one year prior.
Great Wall Motor led Chinese pickup makers during the year's first half, with pickup sales snatching a 30 per cent market share in China. Its small-displacement SUVs and diesel engine SUVs, as well as its Florid and CooBear cars, are well accepted by the market.
