LOS ANGELES -- Villains, a trendy streetwear retailer in San Francisco, is spotlighting its high-end designer wares with a second store opening tomorrow.
The original boutique, on the city's famed Haight Street, has often been cited by streetwear cognoscenti as one of the market's hipper stores. It began adding labels such as D&G Jeans and Helmut Lang Jeans to its mix two seasons ago.
The response has been strong enough to result in a second, high-end only unit that will open directly across the street from Villains. The retail sales range for the new store, which is called Villains Vault, will mostly be $50 to $450, while Villains starts at $15 for tank tops ...
