SUSAN COHEN'S "ABORTION and Women of Color" (Winter 2008-2009) is a must read for all of us concerned about the rates of unintended pregnancy and abortion among women of color, especially Black women. Ms. Cohen raises much for discussion with respect to addressing the racial and ethnic disparities within not only reproductive health, but other health disparities as well. For women of color, the reproductive health disparities are especially alarming when placed within a broader reproductive justice context.
